Kathryn Temby, the Director of KT Medical has had a long association with Orthofix, having represented their products through their previous distributors since 2006.
KT Medical was founded in 2014 by Kathryn Temby. The company and it’s people are focused on delivering exceptional service and support to Spinal, Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Surgeons and their teams throughout Australia. The company is based in South Melbourne, Victoria.
Alongside its direct operations in Victoria, NSW and Tasmania, KT Medical works very closely with its network of highly talented and experienced medical device sales and support partners in the states of NSW, QLD and WA.

Executive Team
Kathryn Temby
Director
Kathryn’s extensive experience in the Australian medical industry spans over more than 27 years.
She has been involved in the product launch, sales and clinical support of a diverse range of implants, capital equipment and consumables used in spinal, neurosurgical, neurology, vascular and pain management applications. This includes Spinal Implants and Biologics used for the treatment of Adult and Paediatric deformity and degenerative conditions.
In addition, Kathryn has been involved with the introduction into the Australian marketplace of Motion Preservation Technologies including Total Disc Replacement and Posterior Lumbar Dynamic Systems.
Kathryn has represented and worked with leading manufacturers in neurosurgery and spine surgery including Orthofix, Spinal Kinetics, Brainlab, Cerepedics, Signus Medical, K2M, Spine Solutions, Fziomed and Cardinal Health.
As director of KT Medical, Kathryn’s goal is to align exceptional products with her network of surgeons and distribution partners and to deliver consistently high levels of customer support.
Ben Reynolds
Business Development Manager
Ben has been working within the Australian and New Zealand medical industries for more than 20 years.
His previous roles in sales, support, technical and management have been with Taylor Bryant/Lifehealthcare, Orthofix, ASDM (Allegra) and Global Orthopaedics.
Ben has been intrinsic to the launch of innovative and disruptive technologies such as lumbar dynamic pedicle screw systems, next generation total disc replacements and the Intrinsic Therapeutics annular closure device.
His focus at KT Medical is to source, bring to market and ensure ongoing development and support of superior products distributed by KT Medical. Ben is also involved with the ongoing development, training and support of KT Medical’s highly experienced team and Australia wide partners.
Ben completed his MBA in 2022. He graduated wth high distinction in all areas of study.
